This heavy-duty bag easily attaches to the Segway™ i-Series handlebar, and does not block any controls. It is made of heavy-duty compressed polypropylene and polyethylene with polyester coating, with a fitted lid.

These heavy-duty, compressed polypropylene saddlebags easily attach to the Segway's™ lower structure via tubular metal mounting brackets, and feature fitted lids with hook and loop closures. They each hold roughly 30 lbs. of cargo, for a total cargo capacity of about 60 lbs.

The Segway™ Cargo Kit consists of three separate cargo bins -- two saddlebags and a handlebar bag -- collectively supplying a maximum of 75 lbs. of cargo capacity for supplies, packages, literature, tools, etc. The tubular metal racks which attach to the saddlebags can also be used for handling/hanging cargo.

This spare set of batteries is perfect for heavy users who can’t wait the 4 to 6 hours it takes the Segway’s™ batteries to recharge. The set consists of exactly the same type of NiMH batteries (Nickel Metal Hydride) all Segways™ come originally equipped with. The Segway’s™ battery packs are located under the foot platform, and can be “changed out” by means of several screws in only a few minutes. While the “fresh” batteries are being used, the discharged pair can be recharged independently of the Segway™, by means of the Off Board Battery Pack Charger shown below.

This device allows the Segway’s™ batteries to be charged independently of the Segway’s™ on-board charging circuitry. Normally, when a Segway’s™ batteries run down, the Segway™ itself is plugged into an outlet and the batteries recharge in 4 to 6 hours. This charger allows the user to charge a second set of batteries, while the first set is being used in the Segway™.
