How to Order a Seg-Sign™
You may request
a quote for Segways™ and Seg-Signs™ (Patent
Pending) using this Web site, but to place an actual order,
you need to speak with a Rentex sales representative at (800)
250-3241.
The
ordering process basically works like this:
1. Contact Rentex for a complete
rental quote, including Segway™ and Seg-Sign™
rental charges, applicable sales tax (if any), shipping
costs (if any), and miscellaneous charges (if any).
2. The customer must then decide
who will be creating the artwork for the Seg-Sign™.
The options are generally three - (1) Your in-house graphic
designer, (2) Your advertising/promotional agency, or (3)
Rentex's graphic designers - extra charges apply if Rentex
does the work.
3. Rentex will provide all
the specifications necessary for your graphic designers to
create the artwork for Seg-Sign™ and the accompanying
two wheel covers. This is done via e-mail.
4. The final artwork is created
and submitted to Rentex electronically.
5. The Seg-Signs™ are
then fabricated by Rentex in 3 to 5 days.
6. Rentex then ships a Segway™
Rider Training Video and Operators Manual for the customer
to watch and read in advance of receiving the Segway™.
Total viewing and reading time is less than 30 minutes.
7. The Segway™ and Seg-Sign™
rentals are next shipped to the customer in specially designed,
separate shipping containers.
8. The customer unpacks the
Segway™ and attaches the Seg-Sign™ and wheel covers.
Attaching the Seg-Sign™ typically takes under five minutes.
He/she may then begin to ride the ultimate, high-tech, mobile-marketing-machine!
